Minor in Music

Overview
The minor in Music is a program of study that provides foundational study in music theory, music history, and applied studies. Coursework for the minor can be used to fulfill some elective requirements in a major area of study.
Program Learning Outcomes
The student will:
- Acquire basic knowledge of music history and repertories through the present time.
- Acquire foundational knowledge in music theory.
- Evidence continued growth in musical performance skills.

I learned invaluable information in my music minor classes. I loved the one-on-one professor interactions, small classroom sizes, and the balance between studying history and practical music application. I'm extremely grateful to have chosen to study music more in-depth at Emmaus and now use a lot of the fundamentals I learned in my church.
