Emmaus Alumni

The Emmaus Experience doesn't have to end at graduation! We encourage our alumni to continue to engage with the college and offer a variety of opportunities on and off campus.

From the VP's Desk

Since I came to Emmaus, I have had the pleasure of meeting many of you, our Emmaus Alumni. I’ve been excited to see many return to campus for Iron Sharpens Iron and other conferences, Alumni & Parent Weekend, Christian Ministries Seminars, sporting events, and more. I have also had the privilege of engaging with some through my travels to assemblies and camps and touring with the Emmaus Ensemble.

If I haven’t connected with you yet, I look forward to the opportunity to do so! In the meantime, we’d love for you to engage with Emmaus through Concerning Him podcasts and other platforms; check out all the quick links! If you haven't already done so, I encourage you to watch our 2023 video series Who is Emmaus? that highlighted members of the Emmaus community, including alumni like you. We desire to add value to your life through this content and meaningful events. See below for events and more!

Many exciting things are happening at Emmaus Bible College, and we believe some of our best years are ahead of us. We continue to thank the Lord Jesus for each of you, asking that He will be glorified through your faithful service and work.

Together with you,

Chad Cunningham
Vice President for Advancement & Alumni Relations

Support the Impact

Alumni Project

You can engage with Emmaus by supporting the current Alumni Gift. In years past we have been so grateful for your participation in opportunities like the Emmaus Fund, the new Harlow Student Lounge, and a bus that served us well for many years. Thank you! This year you can participate by prayerfully considering supporting an additional vehicle for the college.

The need for a new/new used 15-passenger van is apparent. The van will enable purposeful travel including the ensemble tour, class trips, athletic games, recruitment, and engagement with assemblies and camps – all of which furthers our five pillars for the college, including increasing enrollment and providing robust athletics.

Thanks to God’s grace, a portion of the new van’s funds are already identified. This leaves approximately $50,000 as our fundraising goal to ensure students and staff have access to safe, reliable transportation. Would you pray with us for this exciting opportunity to advance the mission of Emmaus Bible College?

I ask you to also thoughtfully and prayerfully consider how the Lord might lead you to helping us purchase this much-needed 15-passenger van.

Should the Lord lead you to support this giving effort, you can:

  • Give securely online now (select Alumni Project as the designation)
  • Mail a check with Alumni Project in the memo line
  • Give Appreciated Assets like stocks or real estate
  • Designate Emmaus for your Qualified Charitable/Required Minimum Distribution
  • Contact the Advancement Office at 563.588.8000 x1123 to establish recurring gifts or a pledge

Iron Sharpens Iron: I will build my church

Iron Sharpens Iron Conference
May 16-18, 2024

Register today for this year's Iron Sharpens Iron conference on May 16-18. The theme for 2024 is I Will Build my Church: Plant, Grow, Rejuvenate. Healthy churches glorify God by being Gospel-centered, Great Commission-oriented gatherings where people are transformed by Jesus Christ through the Spirit and are committed to prayer, discipleship, preaching and leadership development. Join Alex Strauch, Dr. Steve Price, Karl Peterson, and Dr. Mark Stevenson as we examine what Scripture teaches us about growing biblical and healthy churches.

Iron Sharpens Iron is Emmaus's annual conference of learning, strategizing, and fellowship with men and women from around the world. The purpose is to sharpen one another's vision and skills for building up the local church and impacting the world for Christ.
