Recent Highlights: Spring 2024

I just had a wonderful visit with a variety of North Carolina and Georgia constituents and church leaders. I am so energized from our conversations and the opportunity to share how Emmaus University is Impacting the world for Christ! Between our rigorous, disciple-driven residential campus programs and our excellent and unique global campus offerings, I know our best years are yet to come.

I want to thank you for your support. Your generosity and prayers are the reason we’ve accomplished:
 

• The Bridge English as a Second Language program gives Emmaus students the opportunity to teach English, using the Bible, to global learners. In fact, this is the 2nd year in a row that an Emmaus student has received the Emerging Scholars Award by the Christian Association of World Languages.

• Anna Harwood was named the 2024 DII Women’s Basketball Dr. Marti MacCullough Award Recipient. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Anna demonstrated how our student-athletes lead on and off the playing field.

• Discover Emmaus Weekend was our largest on record with over 150 students and 49 leaders. With so many potential incoming students in attendance, we had to open another floor to accommodate everyone.

• Our Summex Trip to South Africa is planned for June, and I am reminded how encouraging and transformational this experience is for our students. They observe, learn, and serve as needed.
   

These are just a few examples of what Impacting the world for Christ looks like and why I am so humbled to serve our University—a place of significant Gospel impact.

Our priority focus is asking God to provide scholarship support so an Emmaus education is within each student’s financial reach. We cannot accomplish our mission and vision without the help of the Lord Jesus, and we are confident He will provide for our needs through His people.
