Programs in Educational Ministries
Our Educational Ministries students learn to integrate sound bible teaching and ministry philosophy to form a powerful approach to ministering to and caring for others in various contexts of ministry. Our programs are centered on a commitment to establish the Gospel in others as the foundation of a life of saving grace, real purpose and eternal hope. We accomplish this by knowing the Bible, loving people and equipping others to do the same.

My college experience was exceptional with high quality academics, valuable work experience, and various leadership opportunities. My time at Emmaus also challenged me to grow as an individual and deepen my relationship with Christ. Dustin Jones
Emmaus has taught me the importance of using relationships to foster spiritual growth and maturity, as well as help foster a Biblical desire to see spiritually lost people become spiritually reconciled to Christ. Using relationships and Biblical truth have allowed me to bring the Word of God to a starving culture. As a youth pastor, I have to critically evaluate the physical and spiritual needs of my students; I would not have the ability to impact them for Christ at this level without Emmaus’ training.
The Educational Ministries department at Emmaus can prepare you for a variety of jobs in different ministry settings:
- Children’s director/pastor in a variety of church and Para-church based ministries.
- Director of programming, staff development and guest services in Camping retreat based ministries.
- Director of spiritual development in a secondary Christian school setting.
- Mentor and caretaker at risk youth residential facilities.
- Ministries positions focused on discipleship training and mentoring
- Teacher of Bible and Worldview in a secondary Christian school setting.
- Youth director/pastor in a variety of church and Para-church based ministries.
